Hawaii here we come...Again!

 It has been a year since I last blogged, we are here in Alaska but not for long. We have decided we should go back to Hawaii and make it our permanent home. The main reason for the move is so that we can be a full time family again. Most people do not realize that I am pretty much a single mom up here as Jason is gone for work 6-8 weeks at a time. As much as I LOVE Alaska she has served her purpose and we are going to be living out our days on the beaches of Hawaii with daddy home all the time.
We are flying down July 17 and I am looking for a house to buy as we speak. I am so excited about being homeowners again. However let's just say $450,000 does not go far on an island in the pacific.
I am hopeful that my pinterest boards for organization will come in handy for a small space.

I am also looking forward to getting into better shape, I have started running. That will not last for long here as winter comes around quick. I can't wait to be jogging with aquamarine water to my right.
We are also planning to get a SUP (stand up paddleboard) when we get there for even more excercise. Mckinley is especially excited as she loves the ocean and loves to snorkel. Ashton does not like the fish getting close to her but she loves to board and wants to take surf lessons.

Alaska has been an amazing place to live and I am going to miss the many friends we have made here. I love this place and hope to come back again someday!

Moving back to Alaska

Well after moving to Hawaii for the winter from Barrow we are moving back to Alaska permanently. Sounds crazy I know. Who would ever want to leave Hawaii, right? This is an amazing place to vacation but we are ready to call Alaska our home for good. This time we are going to live in Anchorage and plan to buy a house there next year. So I am busy preparing everything for the move back by myself, my sweet husband has already flown up to start working back on the North Slope and we are soon to follow.
